Terms and Conditions

Table Tailors — United Arab Emirates

1. Definitions and Scope

"The Company": Table Tailors, registered in the United Arab Emirates.

"The Client": The individual, venue, or entity booking the Equipment or Services.

"Equipment": All bespoke tableware, cutlery, linens, glassware, and decor items provided by Table Tailors.

"Services": Event styling, table curation, delivery, and setup/strike services.

2. Booking and Payments

  • Quotes: All quotes provided by Table Tailors are valid for 14 days. Availability is only guaranteed upon receipt of the deposit.
  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total invoice is required to confirm the booking.
  • Final Payment: The remaining 50% must be settled no later than 14 days prior to the event date.
  • VAT: In compliance with UAE Federal Law, a 5% Value Added Tax will be applied to all charges.

3. Security Deposit and Damages

A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals.

Table Tailors reserves the right to withhold funds from this deposit for:

  • Breakage/Loss: Charged at the full current replacement market value.
  • Severe Damage: Including chipped porcelain, cracked crystal, or permanent stains on linens (e.g., candle wax, ink, or mold).

If damages exceed the security deposit, Table Tailors will issue a supplementary invoice payable within 7 days.

4. Rental Period and Logistics

  • Duration: The standard rental period is 24 hours.
  • Late Returns: Equipment not ready for collection at the agreed time will incur a late fee of 25% of the daily rental rate per day.
  • Site Access: The Client must ensure Table Tailors has adequate access to the venue for delivery and collection. Delays caused by lack of access may result in additional labor charges.

5. Equipment Care

  • Standard Care:All tableware is delivered professionally cleaned and "event-ready."
  • Post-Event: Unless a cleaning service is pre-booked, the Client must ensure plates are scraped of food debris and glassware is emptied.
  • Linens: Damp linens must not be packed in plastic bags to prevent mildew.

6. Cancellations and Postponements

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. The following fees apply:

  • 30+ days notice: Deposit is retained; all other payments are refunded.
  • 14–30 days notice: 50% of the total contract value is non-refundable.
  • Less than 14 days notice: 100% of the total contract value is non-refundable.

7. Design and Intellectual Property

All creative concepts, mood boards, and table "tablescapes" designed by Table Tailors remain the exclusive intellectual property of the Company.

Table Tailors reserves the right to photograph setups for promotional purposes. We will respect Client privacy and refrain from tagging personal profiles if requested in writing.

8. Liability

Table Tailors shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from the use of the Equipment once delivered to the site.

The Company is not responsible for delays caused by Force Majeure (e.g., extreme weather, road closures, or government-mandated restrictions).

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UAE Courts.
